Dear Parents, A request is being made for you to join our PTSA At Ben Franklin Community School. The cost is six ($6:00) per student for the 2005-2006 school year. Thank you, contact number (305)681-3547 Ask for Ms. Rush Parent Information After School Activities Students at Benjamin Franklin Elementary have many presented with various after school activities. Occasionally, the activities may be cancelled or meeting days changed. Students and parents will usually be notified ahead of time in order for transportation home to be arranged. In case of cancellation students will be allowed to call parents in the morning in order for parents to arrange transportation. School Uniform Policy Remember school uniforms are mandatory at Ben Franklin Elementary School. When students wear uniforms it helps school security keep unauthorized students off campus and promotes a sense of community and pride among the student body. Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures Unless students are enrolled in Before School Care, please do not drop students off before 8:00 AM. Please make arrangements for all Pre-K, K, and 1st grade students to be picked up by 2:00 PM. All other students must be picked up by 3:00 PM except on Wednesday, when All students are dismissed at 2:00 PM. Emergency Contact Information In some situations the school must be able to get in contact with a child's parent or guardian during the school day. The school must have current telephone on file for each student. date information is greatly appreciated. |
